My father has alzheimer disease. He was diagnose last year. He was staying in a apartment by himself. He had start to forgeting to lock his door and things like that so he had to move back in the house with me and my sister. He had mood swings and he gets very angry sometime because he cannot do the things he use to do. I know it is seven stages of it. This is a great video. It really help me learn more about alzheimer

Toni - Yes we do have a long way to go... but I am in this for the long haul. Not only do I have a mother with AD but also a sister-in-law who was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Today she is cancer free. Thank you for all that you are doing. You are a very welcomed addition to this community.

Great video. I agree with the fact that Alzheimer's is becoming more and more prevailant and it wasn't commonly heard of just a decade ago. I think people being public like Ronald Regan, Pat Summit, and Glen Campbell is helping in efforts to make others more aware of this disease but we have a long way to go. I also think you are right on with getting an earlier diagnosis. By the time we got an official diagnosis for mom she was beyond making in depth decisions like creating a will. It has been a struggle. I look forward to hearing more of your story.
